Somewhere in Amsterdam.......

"Let me see if I have this right, husband. You want to leave our new home, sell what little we have, pack up the children, and board a leaky, tiny, filthy ship, which will be in such terrible condition that it is not seaworthy. Then undeterred, we will get off that ship and board another leaky, tiny, filthy ship with about a 100 other people, many of whom we know not. While we are onboard this ship for several months, we will be subjected to terrible seas, the main beam of the ship will crack, some will perish, and a woman will give birth. When we finally do reach our destination, we will not be able to land. When we are able, it will take months until dwellings are built, and by spring, disease will have killed all but 47 of us. Now husband, do I have that correct?"
